The nomination process for 2009 awards is closed, but if you are unfamiliar with these acknowledgements of service that National Ministries presents on behalf of American Baptist Churches USA, take a few moments to explore the criteria for each of the awards below.
Here are the award recipients from the 2007 Biennial.
The Biennial Awards will be announced by National Ministries* at the 2009 American Baptist Biennial Meeting (and/or regional venue) to give national recognition for excellence in the defined areas of ministry. *Except Mowbray which is awarded by ABCUSA.

Award Recipient Selection Process
In November 2008, the Committee on Recognition and Awards of the Board of National Ministries will review the nominations and select recipients to recommend to the full Board. Following the vote of the Board, recipients will be notified. Nominators also will be notified of the recipients chosen for the awards for which they made nominations. Those not selected will receive a certificate of recognition.
