“Friends of Judson” Give Back to the Future
To celebrate its 185th year of Christian publishing, as well as 400 years of worldwide Baptist witness, Judson Press has launched a $185,000 fund-raising effort that will support offering personal Baptist library collections to graduating American Baptist seminarians. Contributors to the effort become “Friends of Judson.”
Each level of support ($18, $85, $185, $1,850) will be recognized by varying thank you gifts, including free products, discounts and a Web site listing. “We hope the recognitions will encourage participation,” says Judson’s publisher Laura Alden, “and also celebrate the great generosity from hands and hearts of Baptists who have gone before that has propelled our witness through so many generations.”
In addition to the fund-raising project, as part of its mission to provide Christ-centered leadership resources, Judson Press has issued the Baptist Celebration Collection, including 18 essential Baptist resources for $185 (a $225 value).
