We thank you, O God, for the response of your people; your people who said, "We cannot wait, we must do something now" and did. They went without a clear plan but with willing hearts and supplies given and gathered by compassionate souls. They went, having been sent with assurance that you would meet them there. You did. Your Spirit guides us through the darkness of our lives. Darkness is the same as light to you. Thank you for seeing ahead when we cannot. We are grateful, O God, that your hand guides as the faithful go. In Christ's name, Amen.
